Clinical Care

During a clinical appointment, Move Athletic Therapy will first complete an assessment of your injury or concern. This will include a history, series of observations, functional assessment (range of motion, strength testing, functional movements, and special tests) and palpation. From there, Move Athletic Therapy will work with you, and your goals to create a patient-centred treatment plan to help get you back! This treatment plan can include, but isn't limited to:
- Exercise Prescription/Strength and Conditioning
- Soft Tissue Release Techniques
- Muscle Energy
- Fascial Stretch Therapy Techniques
- Mobility Work
Athletic Therapy is covered by most insurance plans. If it is not, it sometimes can be added on the extended health plan rider. Please reach out if your insurance company needs more information.

Seminars

At Move Athletic Therapy, we love to share our passion for the profession. This is why we are happy to provide educational seminars on a variety of athletic therapy related topics. These sessions can be coordinated for small or large groups, and can be focused towards specific populations (coaches, athletes, parent groups, etc). Additionally, Move Athletic Therapy loves to educate about what athletic therapy is, and what it can do for you! We are happy to lead lunch and learns with local groups.
